Breathing Space Norfolk is the creation of Mags Sorrell and her team. In 2007 she had a vision to create a holistic retreat for women, offering them breathing space from their hectic lives: peace, tranquility, dark skies, open fires and good food, complemented with holistic healing therapies and shared with like-minded people. A space to gather, talk, heal, connect, eat, sleep, laugh and share.
Since then it has grown in size and popularity, with many people returning annually for their Breathing Space boost. Events are held throughout the year, including workshops and retreats. It's a venue for groups to hold seminars and residential events, and the whole place can be booked out if required.
As well as our accommodation, we also have cabins for art, creativity and holistic therapies, a kitchen garden and a family of ducks on the pond.

Breathing Space has been running for 14 years and I have been very privileged to meet some amazing and inspiring people during that time. My life experience, coupled with studies of naturopath nutrition, NLP coaching and EFT guide my work here.

I enjoyed the beauty and tranquillity of Breathing Space as guest for about 5 years. In 2020 I was invited to join the team. I am delighted to have this opportunity to help create a peaceful, welcoming and healing space for all our lovely guests, and I am very much looking forward to creating that wonderful space especially for you.
I Joined the Breathing Space team in 2018 to help run the B&B and look after our guests during their stay with us, making some tried and tested tasty home cooked meals along the way. Breathing Space was there for me when I needed it, so I feel honoured to give something back to this special place that inspired me in so many ways.
